So, has anyone seen these ads that are flooding YouTube right now?

They are really hammering them.

I wonder why... **cough cough**worldwar**cough cough**

(I also love how they are not specifically connecting this to any kind of conflict. But, they are wanting help building submarines. I am not aware of any large scale merchant submarine fleet in the US, so... )

all internet users should get a little familiar with extensions such as AdBlockPlus, NoScript, and Ublock Orgin. i never see youtube ads unless my browser is in need of an update. all are free, i'm not pitching product for profit.

i know that's not what you asked.

We are nonprofit, mission-driven partner accelerating the revitalization of the defense industrial base through non-traditional approaches that deliver speed, access and scale.

Our mission is to galvanize and uplift the defense industrial base by holistically increasing capability, capacity, and resiliency through the three pillars of advanced technology, supply chain optimization, and workforce development.

"Acting as a bridge between traditional government programs and private sector capabilities, our unique non-profit role drives transformational results across the defense industrial base.'

BlueForge Alliance (BFA), a mission-driven nonprofit whose charter is to accelerate the revitalization of the U.S. Defense Industrial Base (DIB), today announced the launch of the BlueForge Alliance Foundation, a strategic philanthropic approach to sustain and strengthen the DIB and the people essential to it.

The Foundation will operate as the philanthropic arm of BFA, engaging and cultivating individuals, institutional investors, and corporations interested in furthering BFA's mission. Designed to complement BFA’s existing efforts and augment defense programs as our nation faces generational challenges, the Foundation will grow a permanent endowment and advance initiatives that build industrial base resilience, foster innovation, and promote opportunity within the defense ecosystem — particularly for the workforce, communities, suppliers, and partners who power it every day.

They started sponsoring RFK Racing's NASCAR program in 2023, which is the same year BuildSubmarines.com started. They sponsor Brad Keselowski's No. 6 Ford in the Cup Series.

Just so you know, it takes eight years to build a US Navy submarine from the First Cut of Steel Ceremony to her first patrol, if the vessel is a follow-on - one built after the boat the class is named for. The first one takes a lot longer because its construction time includes the time to design the sub. Even if Trump ordered them to start cranking out subs right and left, he'd be dead before the first one went to sea.
