The Reflecting Pool is full of Oobleck!
If you are familiar with the Dr Seuss story Barholomew and the Oobleck” it’s familiar: an arrogant king, bored with the weather, orders his mystics to create something new. The result is Oobleck. Oobleck turns out to be a sticky green substance that almost destroys the kingdom.
But in the story, the crisis is resolved when the king takes responsibility and apologizes. That will never happen in our unfortunate kingdom.
