"The Art Of The Yield"

That was the headline written in the Bulwark by Andrew Egger who went on to say that Krasnov chickened out to Iran.

His article was combined with an article by Bill Kristol which had the headline, " Donald J. Hoover." Kristol's article talked about Krasnov's failed foreign policy and failed economic policy.

At the G7 Krasnov mentioned Hoover twice and even said he didn't want to be compared with Herbert Hoover.

All of this confirms what I have been saying, Krasnov had to surrender or else gas would have been $7/gal on the 4th of July, now gas is already below $4/gal. In Krasnov's mind the war is over, he got what he wanted, he won and Iran lost and he wants to just move on to rigging the election.

USA USA. Iran can have missiles, even nukes, and Israel can annex southern Lebanon, and Iran can charge fees for safe passage through Hormuz, and Krasnov will transfer 500 billion dollars to a bank in Tehran for the damage he caused.

USA USA.

(It’s actually less than that)

Do you think the GOP house and senate will authorize the money?

Not a penny will move otherwise (other than the frozen Iranian assets)

Trump's only economic policy has been to enact tariffs against almost every trading partner in the world, unilaterally,
without any action by Congress (which the Supreme Court struck down, according to his initial justification,
but then he came up with a different justification, and I guess challenges to that are still tied up in the courts...)

Tariffs are an anti-progressive TAX on the American people---
and Democratic politicians ought to start calling it what it is---
a UNILATERAL TAX INCREASE which was never voted for by our representatives!!!!
(possibly the BIGGEST tax increase EVER, according to what I have read!)

Yes, and to get Trump out of his unnecessary war of choice,
we are to give Iran more than 300 billion dollars???

(Money that would have been better spent to support Medicaid and SNAP,
which instead have CUTS due to the Trump GQP's "big ugly abortion of a bill" from last year....)

Pardon my rant, it's not directed at you---
the line about 'Trump's failed economic policy', as if there was any real policy--
it just set me off!!!

There is no such thing as the 'art of the deal' as far as he is concerned.

Anything resembling a deal between him and another party is a study in standing over a person, organisation, country - whatever - until he gets his own way.

A deal needs give and take. A deal needs compromise. It needs giving up some things in return for other things. Then, when the parties agree - a deal is made. Trump is a standover merchant; what he calls deals are a result of bullying and intimidation. And of course, when everything else has gone pear-shaped his deals are nothing but a face-saving device.
