Ukrainian woman that won the Fields Medal in Mathematics

A woman born in Kyiv, Maryna Viazovska, solved a mathematical problem that defeated Newton and Kepler for four hundred years.

She did it in eight dimensions, a place no human body will ever stand, and still her mind found its way through it. In 2022, she won the Fields Medal, the highest honor in mathematics, and became the second woman in history to receive it.

This is the country Russia calls a mistake on the map.

Remember that next time someone tells you Ukraine has nothing worth defending.
