When the Department of Justice released more than 3 million pages of documents under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, survivors, advocates and lawmakers quickly raised questions about an apparent discrepancy: the DOJ had said it collected more than 6 million pages of material during its investigation but was only releasing half that number.

The Justice Department tells CBS News it "has released every document required by the Epstein Files Transparency Act," and maintains that those unreleased 3 million documents were either duplicative, unrelated to Epstein or protected by legal privilege.

But concerns persist about evidence that important documents are still being withheld. CBS News has analyzed the archive not only for what has been disclosed, but also for documents that appear to be absent. Our key findings include:

Questionable redactions, including public figures' names

Most Epstein emails from older accounts not included in files

Missing email attachments

No record of Signal communications

The flight logs of Trump and Epstein’s planes, the video tapes and pictures, the financial statements and
records, the testimony of the victims, the history of Trump’s modeling try outs and beauty pageants,
the girls that went missing, Epstein’s connections to Theil, Musk, and Putin, the threats against the
survivors and their families to keep them from talking, w bush’s administration work in covering it up,
why weren’t these child rapists prosecuted?, and ……

This was and still is all part of the biggest multi and international crime operation in history.

5. It's the older emails (pre-2005) that will have messages to and from Chump

I'm not sure how many emails Chump ever sent to Epstein, but I do believe Epstein sent him LOTS of emails. Also he mentioned Chump in emails to others, but strangely those aren't shown in the documents that DoJ has released. I don't know whether Signal comms can ever be retrieved.
