WSJ Poll: “Those in the wealthiest classes have lost faith that an economy that has benefited them can lift future generations. Some 86% of people who call themselves upper class or upper-middle class say they lack confidence that life for their children will be better than theirs has been.”

“That’s up from 64% in a 2019 survey and shows a level of pessimism that matches the views of less-fortunate groups.”

NewsNation: American dream attainable? Fewer in new poll say anyone can achieve.

the overwhelming majority of people truly understand that younger generations have it much harder financially - that makes it a prime environment to enact change when repukes are no longer in power

Because while investments in upper/upper middle class people have gone up, job security has absolutely plummeted. I still see a lot of arrogance and egos among this class, the whole “I’m so special and AI can’t replace me”. Most at this level don’t really understand. They’re still cogs and really don’t matter. It’s about what shareholders want.

There’s no sure fire way to “make it”. Exploding college tuition. Disruptions from AI, idiotic macro policies…
