Hi-ho, the derry-o!
The cheese stands alone.
Maybe an appropriate name for him might be the Big Cheese.

(4,029 posts)Said so, based on personal experience.
Kinzinger's opinions kicked off a row earlier this month when he tweeted about Trump's smell on X, formerly Twitter. "I'm genuinely surprised how people close to Trump haven't talked about the odor," Kinzinger wrote on December 16. "It's truly something to behold. Wear a mask if you can." Newsweek has approached representatives for Trump via email for comment on Friday.

(27,834 posts)I recognize at least a few more words in French, and more so in Spanish. 😄
Interestingly, waaay back in JHS (1967); my JHS was one of only 4 in NYC that offered Russian as a third language option.
In 5th, 5th grade gifted classes we had a French teacher who I didn't like much...so i wasn't going to take French. Wasn't interested in Spanish.
My 1st gen dad spoke Ukrainian to his parents. I knew the language was similar to Russian but I didn't yet know the emnity in general between Ukrainian-Americans and the USSR. I'd thought it might beinteresting if we could partly converse a bit. But no problems from him; but i never did even try simple phrases. Go figure.
Anyway I did well; 85%!. But my Specialized HS (vs my local one) didn't offer it. So I slogged my way through Spanish.
Maybe in a parallel Earth I'm a UN translator.
I wouldn't want to be at the US embassy in USSR/Russia or at the CIA. But, who knows, my mind set might be different "there".
Things to ponder. 😄
