The Irony - the aptly-named "Reflection Pool" is a perfect reflection of the grift and corruption....
...of the Trump regime.
He gives the job to one of his buddies, with a no-bid contract, to paint the "Reflection Pool" in front of the Lincoln Monument. His buddy, also a convicted felon, committed his crimes with ex-Congressman, James Traficant, a mobster from Youngstown, Ohio, who was also sent to prison.
The corruption and grift are prevalent at every level of our government. It is a disgrace. Simply to ignore it does not make it go away.
So, his buddy paints the pool and within days it is filled with algae and the paint starts peeling off the bottom of the pool. Trump has no choice but to blame "vandals". No doubt, Democrats and Antifa.
The "Reflection Pool" is the perfect reflection, a metaphor, for the grift, corruption, and incompetence of the Trump White House.
Nobody could make this crap up.
