Nixon was working with the CIA, the FBI, and foreign agents to steal and cover up their crimes. He was using the "deep state" to do his dirty work. It doesn't add up, JD.

who really care are either very old or dead. I remember Watergate and it was a HUGE deal at the time, even for people who normally didn't pay much attention to politics. Of course, it was all before JD was even born.

Meanwhile, Bernstein and Woodward ARE still alive if he wants a debate.

On Aug. 5, 1974, President Richard Nixon released tapes related to the Watergate break-in following a Supreme Court ruling in the case, United States v. Nixon. One of the tapes, now known as the "smoking gun" tape, was a conversation between Nixon and his chief of staff, H.R. Haldeman, that proved Nixon tried to cover up the break-in. "CBS Evening News" covered the breaking news on Aug. 5, 1974.
