What does it take
to to reeducate (of sorts) these so called independents with the four months until November of what they already know/observed? We older folk are exhausted informing their conscience, moral compass and appeals to humanity. I’m not buying that an “independent” needs my further attempts to show them the practicality of voting against this fascism. Call me a skeptic.
If they are truly that undecided after considering the travesty that is unfolding before them via maga, P2025, ICE, impeachments, and the rest, they are not undecided. They’re actually hiding their true allegiance or irredeemably incapable of instruction from me.
Rather than the exhausting entreaties to the obstinate independents I will work my voice to hoarseness whipping up the honest voting enclaves that deserve my effort. However, if progressive members within my self-identified politics want to invest their hope to sway these folk to our side I would certainly not stand in their way.

I do (dis)criedit the Democratic Party by being totally absent except for a few months after primaries "BUT THE PRIMARIES" when it should be blasting the issues upon which Democrats all agree, and standing up for Democrats targeted by the hate and lie machine, which the repubs run 24 by 7 by 365.
IMO, this should include some of our esteemed leaders who stand above the fray, and it seems, write books instead. Not a gripe, a CALL TO ACTION.
In fact, the party has success when it attacks oligarchy, the cause of our troubles and instigator of division.
Going against the "Epstein Class" of oligarchs has been successful THIS YEAR.
Cults build tolerance for contradiction. In some instances, it's too much for people to hold two contradictory ideas in their heads, and they break with the cult.
