No question the GOP is scared. They are even reaching out to me!! ME!

LOL!

I just got a pretty expensive mailer from RALPH REED, containing a bunch of stuff, and an appeal for money, of course.
Here's some fun highlights:

We Must Register 500,000 New Christian Voters In The Key Battleground Senate Race States And Toss-Up House Race Districts PER MONTH To Hit Our Benchmarks.

I am writing to you because your past activities tell me that you are a supporter of PRESIDENT TRUMP and that you love America.
(I have NO IDEA where they managed to dredge my name up. I have NEVER supported Trump - heck, I've been a member of DU for 24 years! They must be simply mailing everybody they can find?)

The America you love would now be over without the work of FAITH & FREEDOM.
(Blech, the America I love is over because of people like these creeps!)

But keep in mind that the radical Left never rests. The Left always raises and stands vastly more money than the conservative side.
(I call BS on this!!)

The 8 battleground Senate race states we are most focused on are: Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Maine, Iowa, and Ohio.
(Kind of surprised AZ didn't make the list, aren't we considered a battleground state?)

They also included a survey to complete with a donation.

The last question's "NO" option about giving money states:

No, because I oppose President Trump; I want the Left in control of our government; I want "open borders" for America; and I want Christianity erased from American public life.

If it came with a pre-paid envelope I would return it with that answer. But, I'm too cheap to spend the postage just for that.

Oh well, at least they sent me an expensive mailer that will do them no good.

Yeesh!!

These people are so evil.

and some survey from the G(uardians) O(f) P(edophiles) party. Can't imagine why any of their lists would make anyone think they should waste their money sending me their garbage.

In the past I've marked their garbage "Return to sender" but it came back to me, even with my name and address crossed out and the message to return to sender. Considered completely blacking out my name and address on these recent ones but figured they still wouldn't be returned to the lunatics sending them.

Maybe I should try to be glad they've wasted their money and this garbage didn't go to anyone who might actually be interested in it.

I intend to return it with some comments about not reading books from either live Nazis or dead Nazis.

There isn't a US Senate race in Arizona in 2026. Both of Arizona’s U.S. Senate seats are held by Democrats who are not up for re-election this year.

The House seats are probably a different story.

According to Wikipedia:

Arizona used to be a solid red state but had drifted into being a purple state by the 2020s, with Democrats holding both Senate seats and the governorship, in addition to Democrat Joe Biden winning the state in the 2020 presidential election. However, Republican Donald Trump won by a 5 point margin in 2024, showing his strongest performance out of the seven key swing states in that election, all of which he won.

I'm with you in that they can waste all their money trying to flip us while their mailers go right straight into the trash.

Thanks for the discussion, Coventina. ❤️

Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. They never really go away. Just when you think they have, they pop back up. Countdown until Sarah Palin shows her face!
