The only election that we all participate in together is for President

Other than that it's all local.

Voting is the only voice we truly have. It's why everyone must participate. Everyone must vote for the best candidates they can in their Town, in their County, in their State. That's it. That's all you can do.

It's silly to worry about who others elect in their Towns, in their Counties and in their States. If you don't live there you don't control it and you don't get a say. But you should expect that others are doing exactly as you are. They are voting for who they feel is their best representation.

Every single Town has their own specific needs and wants. Every County. Every State. And voters everywhere do take careful consideration and thought into who they choose to represent them.

With the exception of the Presidency, no election should be nationalized. Nationalizing elections is something that Republicans seem to do because they have nothing to run on except drama, division, gossip and nonsense. Democrats, of all stripes are united in what we stand for. The messaging and priorities might differ from town to town but it is always about doing what is best for the people. That is not at all what any Republican is doing. At least not in this day in age. They aren't offering anything.

when it impacts potential House and Senate majorities, and even governorships as they can swing momentum on national issues.

and used against Democrats, like accusations of "ignoring the working class" because elite establishment at swanky parties off in Washington with "donor class" -- that BS.

Then national elections are treated more like local ones, making it about personal character, encouraging people to make it a moral personal choice like "voting my conscious" and liking the candidate rather than party policy.
