Mobile County needs additional poll workers for November election

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile County needs the help of residents interested in working the polls for the Nov. 5 presidential election.

Chief Election Officer and Probate Judge Don Davis says he needs about 100 additional poll workers to staff 80 polls in Mobile County.

The positions are paid and training is provided. However, Davis says training sessions are about to start, so interested residents should apply now.

To qualify, you must be 19 or older, and must reside and be registered to vote in Mobile County.
