Steve Bannon Accused of Making 'Nazi Salute' During CPAC Speech

Source: Newsweek

Steve Bannon has been accused of making a "Nazi" salute while giving a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Thursday. Newsweek has contacted Bannon for comment via email outside regular working hours.

The incident occurred soon after Elon Musk, another top ally of Donald Trump, was accused of giving a Nazi salute on stage during an event celebrating the president's January inauguration.

Bannon, host of the influential War Room podcast and a former White House chief strategist during Trump's first term, gave a speech Thursday at the annual conservative gathering in Gaylord National Resort Hotel And Convention Center in Oxon Hill, Maryland. During his speech, Bannon repeated his calls for Trump to run for an unconstitutional third term, telling the crowd, "We want Trump in '28."

Bannon later said near the end of his speech that "the only way we lose is if we quit" and that they will never "surrender." He then chanted "fight, fight, fight" before raising his right arm with his palm down. A number of left-wing figures and Trump critics accused Bannon of giving a Nazi salute on stage at CPAC.

WTF? Like, that's something you have to be partisan to notice? Otherwise, you think he's waving at his mom?

The second he's "accepted" back in the Trump "circle of NAZI'S" then his trash talking of Musk will never be heard again. All of a sudden Musk will be the smartest guy in the room to Bannon.

... it is a fucking Nazi Republican. Duh! When are Americans going to stop excusing this reprehensible behavior? Since when is the intolerable now tolerable? Where's Captain America, Democrats? Where is the "guitar" which "kills Fascists," Democrats? Is Governor Pritzger the only one who is calling out these despicable Nazis?
