Far-right podcaster with ties to Trump orbit calls for 'final solution' -- to deport Jews

A far-right conspiracy theorist podcaster and former bounty hunter with ties to several influential figures in President Donald Trump's orbit advocated for a "final solution" to deport all Jews from the United States in a recent episode echoing Nazi language used in planning for the Holocaust.
Stew Peters, who has argued the Earth is flat, called for vaccine developers to be executed, and denied the Holocaust, made the comments during an interview with Matt Baker, a far-right California activist who once shouted "Heil Fauci!" during an anti-vaccine rant in California.
Baker appeared uncomfortable with Peters' comments, according to a clip captured by Right Wing Watch. "I don't think we should deport all Jewish people," he said. "I'm two years ahead of you on that, and in two years you'll come back and say, yeah, you were right about that," Peters replied. "I'm a little bit ahead of people, just like I was with COVID and the bioweapon, okay? I'm a little bit ahead of people. We absolutely do need a final solution on that."
Peters has given interviews to a number of people with close ties to Trump, including current FBI Director Kash Patel, former Arizona candidate Kari Lake, and a number of Trump-aligned GOP members of Congress. During his confirmation hearings, Patel tried to distance himself from Peters, saying he wasn't familiar with him "off the top of my head" when asked by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), who proceeded to remind him he went on Peters' show eight separate times.

(2,052 posts)... we deport all bigoted, racist, pathological liars? Now, that WOULD Make America Great Again.
Speaking of liars; Patel, like every Republican that Satan ever defecated, is an Olympic-class liar who couldn't tell the truth about the time of day.

(55,211 posts)He further blasted Trump as gone gloves off against the American people on behalf of his Jewish paymasters, who spent $100 million to get him back into the White House. Miriam Adelson, the widow of casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, contributed $106 million in support of Trump in the 2024 election. That is the Trump agenda, and hes made it very clear: Make America Great Again is dead, but Make Israel Great Again is first and very much alive, Peters said in his monologue.
Peters has openly identified as a Christian nationalist, claiming he is merely working to protect Christians from what he describes as nefarious actors often Jews who control the government and persecute American Christians. In November, he tweeted that the Constitution is being replaced with the Talmud. He once accused Jared Kushner, Trumps Jewish son-in-law, of being a Mossad agent.

(21 posts)This is absolutely sickening. The language used by Stew Peters, with his call for a "final solution" to deport Jewish people, is a direct echo of the horrors of the Holocaust. There's no room for this kind of hate speech in our society. It's not just offensive; it's a dangerous call to action that puts Jewish people and all marginalized communities at risk.
Let's be clear: this isn't just some fringe figure. Peters has connections to influential figures in the Trump orbit, including Kash Patel, who, despite his attempts to distance himself, appeared on Peters' show multiple times. This raises serious questions about the normalization of extremist views within certain segments of the Republican Party.
According to the FBI's own data, hate crimes targeting Jewish people are consistently among the highest of any religious group in the United States. In 2022, nearly 60% of religiously motivated hate crimes were anti-Jewish, despite Jewish people making up only about 2.4% of the U.S. population. This is not a coincidence; it's a direct result of the kind of rhetoric Peters and others are spewing.
Furthermore, the Southern Poverty Law Center has documented a significant rise in antisemitic incidents and rhetoric in recent years, often fueled by online conspiracy theories and far-right extremism. The Anti-Defamation League also reported a 36% increase in antisemitic incidents in 2023 alone, the highest number on record since they began tracking such data in 1979. We cannot ignore these statistics.
The Democratic Party stands firmly against all forms of hate and bigotry. We believe in a diverse and inclusive society where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. We must hold those who spread this vile rhetoric accountable and work to dismantle the systems that enable it.
We need to call out these figures and hold them and their connections accountable. We must also work to educate people about the dangers of this kind of language and the history of antisemitism. We cannot allow this kind of hatred to fester in our communities. We must protect our democratic values and the safety of all Americans.
