BIBB COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC/Gray News) – A fourth man has been arrested in a case involving young children and animals being sexually abused in an underground bunker in Alabama, officials said.

On Tuesday, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrested a fourth suspect, identified as 23-year-old Timothy St. John.

Previously, the sheriff’s office announced that three other men were facing charges after they allegedly sexually abused children in an underground bunker.


According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation began in early February.

Terrell is also accused of paying adults for access to their children to sexually assault them. Court documents say during 2024 and 2025, Terrell sexually assaulted multiple underage victims, ranging in age from 3 to 16. It’s unclear if these are the alleged assaults that took place in the underground bunker or a separate case.

During a press conference on Wednesday, Bibb County Sheriff Jody Wade identified the newly arrested individuals as Rebecca Brewer, Ricky Terrell, and Sarah Louis Terrell. Wade detailed the charges against each suspect, noting that charges are still pending for Brewer, Ricky Terrell, and Sarah Louis Terrell.


Brewer faces eight counts of human trafficking, eight counts of first-degree human kidnapping, and three counts of sexual torture. Ricky Terrell is charged with one count of rape, with additional charges pending. Sarah Louis Terrell is charged with one count of sexual torture and two counts of sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old.

Victims in the case range from ages 3 to 15, with some of the offenders being parents of the victims, authorities said. Wade also revealed that one of the suspects has ties to a gang known for profiting from child sex crimes.
