That's the difference between people and organizations: a person vote when they technically should not but they go to jail...especially if they are Black.
PACs like this can do far, far worse and they get a "sternly worded letter" which is, very literally, absolutely no consequence at all.

People need to get these terms straight. What Musk's PAC did is election fraud, not voter fraud.

THE VOTERS on those firms didn't commit fraud.

The PAC is committing ELECTION FRAUD. They are violating voter registration laws.

It's EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to mix up voter fraud and election fraud. They are not the same. One of them is statistically non-existent--the other is RAMPANT among Republicans: Election fraud.

With Trump & friends pushing FALSE "voter fraud" memes to justify massive voter suppression (rhe SAVE Act) we cannot afford to conflate the two terms or their meanings.
