(1,983 posts)and especially one that isnt beholden to the whims of American politics, which are fickle and less reliable as a defense partner. Given China and North Korea next door, theyre doing what they have to do.
This also expands partnerships throughout Asia. The world needs to acknowledge that were not in 1945 anymore. I hope this makes China uncomfortable and think twice about starting anything with Taiwan.
