Kennedy Center being used as projector screen for Trump and Epstein videos

President Donald Trump got a lesson in the law of unintended consequences when pranksters used the tarp thats hiding the removal of his name from the Kennedy Center to frame vintage video clips of him gallivanting with Jeffrey Epstein. Yesterday night a protester projected what we all wanted on the tarp of the Kennedy Center, X user @sarrah_bellus wrote Sunday morning on X, along with a recording of the video as it was projected onto the centers doors.
The stunt appeared to be the work of a group of anti-Trump street artists known as VJayBombs, which posted a montage of video clips on Instagram that show the Kennedy Center was among several targets during a spree of similar projections onto Washington, D.C., landmarks and locations.
They include the Lincoln Memorial, where Trumps deputy White House chief of staff Stephen Miller appeared as a bat-like creature hanging from the ceiling; the Reflecting Pool, where Secretary of State Marco Rubio surfaced as a fish; and the Department of Justice, where the diaper-clad bottom of a man appeared under a banner showing Trumps head and torso.
In addition to the clips of Trump and Epstein, the roughly two-minute video projected onto the Kennedy Center featured a mug shot of the notorious late sex offender and the words No one bends the knee like the GOP.

Pilgrims have journeyed to the Kennedy Center over the past week and a half hoping to see proof that President Donald Trumps name is gone from the buildings exterior. Theyve all left frustrated, many with the same question: Why is the tarp-covered scaffolding still up, 11 days after crews used it to take Trumps name down?
U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper on Wednesday ordered the centers board of trustees to file updates about the tarp-covered scaffolding and the centers plans for maintaining operations and arts programming after July 5, the date it had intended to close for two years of renovations.
On May 29, Cooper ruled that the Trump-aligned trustees had illegally voted to rename the center, which Congress had exclusively named after the assassinated President John F. Kennedy, and ordered Trumps name be erased from official materials within two weeks. On June 12, a 14-member crew erected scaffolding to comply with the deadline. The workers missed it, taking down the letters around 3 a.m. on June 13, and the centers lawyers confirmed in a court filing later that morning that the work was done.
But the center left the scaffolding and tarps in place. Barricades staffed by security guards have kept people from approaching and blocked any view of the exterior.
In a statement last week, Kennedy Center spokeswoman Roma Daravi said the tarps and scaffolding will remain up as crews address maintenance needs of the marble and soffit panels.
On Monday, The Washington Post obtained photos showing the first public look at the facade since the name came down.
