Musk Reignites Feud, Labels Trump Bill 'Insane, Destructive'

(Time) Elon Musk has renewed his criticism of President Donald Trump’s “Big, Beautiful, Bill,” showcasing his fierce opposition to the measure at a critical time. As Senate Republicans scrambled to advance the newly-revised 940-page proposal, Musk took to social media on Saturday to highlight his disapproval.

“The latest Senate draft bill will destroy millions of jobs in America and cause immense strategic harm to our country,” Musk said to his more than 220 million followers on X. “Utterly insane and destructive. It gives handouts to industries of the past, while severely damaging industries of the future.”

Musk, the former lead of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), who had a spectacular falling out with Trump not long after leaving the White House, doubled down on his position in a series of follow-up messages.

The Tesla CEO referred to the bill as “political suicide” for the Republican party, citing poll data that showed an approval of his stance against the measure. Musk went on to say that the bill “raises the debt ceiling by $5 trillion, the biggest increase in history, putting America in the fast lane to debt slavery.”

While I agree in principle, he’s still a dick. Additionally, no one is paying off the debt, ever, and no one intends to pay debt owed to the US back either. Call it what it is, a bullshit gimmick. It’s the big lie that funds everything with nothing, and we all go along with.

He has more money than Trump and should be threatening to pay to primary every vulnerable Republican who votes for this bill.

Of the 22 GOP Senate seats up for election in 2026, twenty are from states that Trump won by ten or more percentage points. There will be no turnover of the Senate. Also, never underestimate the power of incumbency. That said, history tells us that Dems have a good chance in taking back the House. That will leave a Congress that will not pass any meaningful legislation but at least put a stop to Trump’s BS desires.

The time for term limits is long passed due.

People like Cannon who see the law as a way to benefit partisan goals. And once his tax giveaway for the billionaires becomes law, he will most likely pressure Alito and Thomas to step down so he can appoint younger and even worse judges to the SC, perhaps the religious extremists’ favorite judge Matthew Kacsmaryk or the 5th Circuit whack job James Ho, although both are protégés of Leonard Leo and Trump is currently on the outs with him.

I might be wrong but I think this is gas lighting.

Trump was installed via Musk. Along with Peter Theil, Leonard Leo, Eaton Corporation,
Republican controlled media, Russia, and the Federalist Society/Supreme Court

She Won. They Didn't Just Change the Machines. They Rewired the Election.
