sunk like a rock in GD, hope this is okay- I'm not in a position to do much

I'm poor, disabled, a bit socially isolated
one thing I'm not doing though
is spreading doom and gloom
but trying to get this under as many sympathetic eyes as I can

I am reading Celeste Ng’s Our Missing Hearts, which takes place in what looks very much like our near future if we do not take steps to fight the creeping destruction of our polity. Very disturbing. Jack Smith’s horrifying assessment of the current situation should be driving us all to action.
