But Carol has my heart. Yes it was a different format than the Really good shoe. But it was loads of fun with the regulars and guests.

It was on opposite Ed Sullivan. Always funnier. I also like Ernie Kovacs. Anyone remember his show?

Johnny Cash and Glen Campbell also really good.

Sullivan was great, though. Beatles, Stones, Doors, Topo Gigot, Jose Jimenez (Bill Dana).

Ed Sullivan was good for the variety of acts and it was probably the TV version of Vaudeville. However, The Carol Burnett Show had a set cast of talented actors who would appear every week.

I loved Carol Burnett and the Smothers Brothers. Sad to say, nowadays most things on TV are regrettable.

Show of Shows with Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca. Howie Morris, Carl Reiner.

Summer replacement was Ernie Kovacs.

Red Skelton was very funny.
