Our local bear has awakened from his nap...

... and he is HUNGRY! Our tenant forgot to bring in her brand new steel bird feeder the other night. Blackie crumpled it like tin foil. People forget just how monstrously strong bears are. A few years ago, some coworkers and I watched a bear nearly tip over a full-to-the-brim industrial dumpster. The garbage truck groans lifting that thing. The bear hoisted it like it was a box of cornflakes.
I got a picture of our bear early one morning as he sat on the wall of our stone patio not ten feet away from me, with only the French doors between us. Lord of all he surveyed. If I ever get around to figuring out how to do it, I'll post that photo.

1. Save the pic to your computer/phone (I use a computer to post to DU).

2. Upload it to this site: https://imgur.com/upload

3. After it uploads, right click on it and click on copy image address

4. Paste (right click paste) that address in your DU post.

Voila!

I used to post my political cartoons ( they may be archived somewhere on DU) every Sunday under my real name, and under the auspices of World News Trust, but that was a decade ago. Memory fades...
I'll give your suggestion a try, but it's my turn to cook tonight. Mrs. Cee is making onion rings from a great recipe in Cooks Illustrated, and I'm doing fried shrimp and beer-battered French fries. Diet? WHAT diet?

Thanks again!

... but they're light on social graces, and I wouldn't want encourage bad behavior. I wouldn't want to be lunch, either.
