Enjoying a Metaxa Sidecar tonight.

I don’t have any Metaxa, so I used cognac instead. That, limoncello, orange juice, and lime juice. Yummy!

I could just drink it neat. But I like to splash it in gin and tonics, vodka and tonics, or with some club soda.

I just haven’t found a rye that I like. I can’t drink it neat. I only ever use it as a mixer, as in a New York Sour. Wonderful. Rye is the rusty chainsaw of whiskeys.
