there is a 2-lane county road, double OO, that runs just behind the park (a trout park), that is rather isolated and not many neighbors live on that part of the road, prior to it going down into the park itself. My Mom and Dad ended up taking in numerous abandoned dogs (20+) over the years as well as our neighbors too. This disgusted me to no end people simply just dumping the animals w/o any thought to their future survival, no food, no water, horrible. At least I myself ended up adopting 3 of them and others like my parents adopted quite a few too.
If that area wasn't so isolated, it would have been nice to have cameras etc. installed, but, in that stretch of road (a couple of miles or so), there were probably 3 neighbors only, so really isolated.
At least, most, if not all of us who lived on that road did our best to help these animals (I grabbed 3 of them, beautiful animals too, and blessed w/ their companionship for over 16-17-18 years). Perhaps God has a big black checkmark by their names in his big book of life, so when it comes time in the end times for judgments to be rendered as some theorized, I hope that they get their just dues for abandoning these magnificent animals in the middle of nowhere, Missouri.
