think Xanadu.

The irony of movies like that or the aforementioned Cool as Ice is that they are entertaining but not the way they were meant to be.

Red Dawn (the original with Patrick Swazy) is pure comedy gold.

The Red Dawn example resonates with me. Xanadu was just plain bad, but Red Dawn at least had Patrick Swayze!
