My nonpolitical observation today. Is anyone else tired of seeing EVERY woman of every age wearing hair extensions?

I am uncharacteristically home at lunch time today and flipping through the noon channels--every single local news female anchor and weather person is wearing hair extensions down almost to their waist--even the older women.

Like tattoos, everyone is free to sport their own "look," whether flattering or not, but this just seems like celebrity culture/"influencers" gone crazy.

Okay. Tear into me if you like, but it is just a trend that I had not been hyperaware of--until now.

Certainly not the worst one, mind you, as at least it doesn't involve plastic surgery, but...

adopting an identical look--in this case, hair extensions down to your waist--as everyone else one works with or is 'influenced" by on tv or internet?

Certainly nothing wrong with cutting/styling one's own hair in my book. That would seem the very definition of individualism.

"People are free to wear whatever they want as long as they don't make other people puke."

She was quite the philosopher.

You are entitled to your feelings and opinions. Nobody should "tear into" you for it. Everybody has something that they're tired of seeing or hearing. You just keep on keeping on.

You've got police and FBI agents running around with loose long hair. Totally unbelievable in a job where you have to run and chase criminals. Get a short do or tie it back.

I always heard in conservative times and men are super dominant women go with the long hair and vice versa: with women with short hair.. women are stronger.

It’s a complete joke!! What a bunch of conforming idiots.
