Happy Birthday to Shirley Jones! today she may be best known for being the mom on the TV series THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY (1970-1974), but she is also a tremendous singer who starred in several classic Hollywood musicals (OKLAHOMA!, CAROUSEL, THE MUSIC MAN) and who showed she was an excellent actress--winning an Oscar for ELMER GANTRY. Miss Jones turns 91 today.
