2. My ancient renal kitty went blind during her final year

She'd do the head movements side to side, doing a whisker sweep to locate her landmarks. She also managed to play, the toy needing a jingle bell so she could tell where it was.

I felt like a perfect shit if I moved the furniture or had to set down a bag of groceries when she was in the area because she'd invariably bonk into it.

She's been gone for 10 years and I still miss her every single day.
