Today is day four with the flu.

Sore throat and coughing still hanging on. It was suggested to me I should get a COVID test, but I just don't have the energy to get up, take a shower, get dressed and drive to the drug store. Maybe tomorrow.

Which is pretty much my way of handling everything: maybe tomorrow.

Is this forum okay for this?

And rest, rest, rest. I've found a very warm bath helps my body temperature rise to fight off the illness. Your body knows what to do if you let it. Hope you're better soon.

I feel better today, not 100% but certainly better than the last few days.

My wife is an RN and made me go when I thought I had Covid. 3 negative test before I tested positive for sepsis. She save my life that day. 😘

It stinks when you don’t have what you need when you’re feeling crummy. Hope it’s all over with soon.

You are still in the window where Paxlovid could make a difference- it must be taken within first five days. Good luck, I heard that sore throat with the latest strain is no picnic.

and they said they generally don't give it until fall and I think last fall, they didn't have any vaccines yet. Or maybe they were out. Truth be told, I don't remember exactly why I didn't get one.

If this is COVID, it would be my third bout with it. I figured it's flu because I feel different than I did with COVID.
