Listening to Tina Turner special on Zoomer radio 740 a.m. Toronto on a 1952 National NC-183D high fidelity/amateur radio general coverage receiver.

Lifting the steel lid on this to see the tubes glowing has the feel of lifting the hood on a '57 Chevy. It is satisfying.

16 tubes, double 6V6 push pull amp, same as 50's Fender amps.

.coverage .540 - 31 and 48-56 MHz, bandspread in ham bands, AM, CW (BFO).
