A friend of mine lived in the middle of Nowhere, Kentucky one summer in the '50s. There were still two mail deliveries a day then. She put a request for a song from the local DJ in the morning post one day -- and the song was played that evening.

I just got a Thanksgiving card from my cousin in NH. Took TWO WEEKS!!
now do a poll on how long it took me to see this?

(56,667 posts)and gifted it to me with a new ink pad. she was also the source of the stickers and freaks out when I don't have nice napkins at brandings. I tend to use a roll of paper towels.
