(1,121 posts)...that was one show. The other show was Star Trek: Deep Space Nine when Quark asked Odo if he wanted to play a game of Fizbin which Odo declined.
I say that Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode earlier this week and when Quark asked Odo I realized the show writers' were having a little fun with the reference to the original series.

fan, too.
It was the darkest installment in the franchise.

(1,121 posts)I still watch reruns of DS9 but to me it got away from the theme of how humanity evolved to the ideals displayed in the original Star Trek and Star Trek TNG. I'm more of a fan of the lighter side of DS9 episodes such as when Quark, Nog, and Rom crash landed in Roswell, NM in 1947.

(63,889 posts)was the darkest. I think the hallways and personal spaces on the ship used less light. The idea of not being able to get home for decades made me sad.

(17,180 posts)I think that the full names of the Professor, Gilligan. Skipper and Lovie are mentioned over the radio in a report about the shipwreck only once during the first or second episode.

(17,462 posts)I have no idea about Lovie Howell.
