far-too ample (thank you, Brazilian butt lifts or pre-GLP-1 drugs) derrieres. Given I have had the "natural" version, i.e., the far too ample derriere since teen years there was nothing I ran from faster (yes, really) than tight pants, but then there was Kim (Kardashian) and her "butt fixation". To see what i was cruelly mocked for in my teens all of a sudden be a part of a celeb fashion display was just too mind-bending.

sigh...

I don’t know if there’s an official name for it. But guys would get the hair on the sides of their heads buzzed down to the skin, leaving only a strip on top. That hair would then be gathered in the back into a short ponytail.

Ugliest goddamned hairstyle I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe guys wanted to look like that. It was worse than the mullet.

And it was all over the place in the 80s. It seemed like all the male band members had their hair styled that way. I hated it. Whose idea was it to give men Farrah Fawcett hairdos?

It felt like a national nightmare to me. Of course, now I know what a REAL national nightmare is!
