Lucky day. Indeed. The ice storm that was supposed to hit us hard yesterday didn't. Most of North Carolina got very lucky with very little freezing rain falling.

Sleet here and streets are covered. The city has very little in snow/ice removal equipment. Everything is closed.
And it's VERY cold.
