I tried some of the best sandwiches in Stockholm in one day to see what the city’s sandwich scene is really made of.

When I found out there’s a New York–style deli in the heart of Stockholm putting classic Italian dishes inside sandwiches, I knew I had to investigate. But first, we’re warming up with two very different sandwich spots to see just how diverse Stockholm’s sandwich scene really is.

We’ll visit Mackverket, which went from humble food truck to local sandwich legend, and ERTH, a butcher shop specialising in premium cuts and dry-aged steaks.
