It’s a good reminder that we know very little beyond this blue marble…..

As mortals, our understanding of the world and the universe is shaped by finite experiences and thinking. Our species is not endowed with the capacity to fully comprehend the vastness of the universe or the concepts of infinity and eternity.

Are barriers. We only use a small part of our brain. Maybe when nature decides the time is right the people existing at that chosen time may be able to use their whole brain to comprehend the universe and reason for being.

I would be lying if I said I understood it, but it does in places harmonize with a book I am reading called The Universe in a Single Atom by the Dalai Lama, which discusses quantum physics and Buddhist cosmology. There is quite a bit of convergence.

Thanks, red dog, for giving me more to ponder.

It’s a nice break from the raging.

Some time ago I watched a broadcast that was quite interesting. Can't recall if it was NOVA/PBS... might have been the Science channel on satellite.

What I remember most is the part regarding universal expansion and contraction. It was attributed to the exhalation and inhalation of Brahma. When He inhaled, the universe expanded. When he exhaled, it contracted. Much like what was said in the Youtube link about the universe(s) being a continual process. Seems natural.
