Retroactive Oscars (I didn't see a 'film' category in culture)

I think, there should be an Oscar for 'retroactive', for no particular category otherwise, but that reflects a performance or effort that was dismissed at the time, but that we now know, has stood the test of time, and is appropriately deserved. If you agree, what would you like to see awarded NOW, that didn't get recognized, THEN. One a year, lets say...

Mine would be Val KIlmer for Doc Holiday in Tombstone, no questions asked that performance has not only stood the test of time, and should be recognized as such.
Your suggestions are welcome, as are your disagreements =)

There is a Movies group. I check that out pretty regularly.
Kilmer does do a bang up job in Tombstone.
