Three special days in a row

Yesterday was Darwin Day. Today is Friday the 13th, which is special only if you are superstitious or a fan of certain cult movies. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, as the local merchants will remind you if you shop af a physical store (not online).

When I was doing my grocery shopping a couple of days ago, I noticed that the store was festooned with all manner of Valentine's Day stuff!

Balloons! Multitudes of bouquets, full of red roses and such like that, cards on the card aisle, numerous boxes of a variety of candies, mostly chocolate, and on and on!

You couldn't miss it if you tried!
