I had a maroon crocheted vest as a teen that was almost tunic length and I always felt very Hippie in it.

... but I usually paired them with gauze tops--which I still wear today (except for that wispy number with spaghetti straps and flowers over the nipples... At this age, the camouflage is way off the mark… 😏

(edited because my phone text app bites the big weenie and left out a letter)

I kept them all these years. Wish they still fit! Oh and I liked to exchange studs with my friends and we’d decorate our jeans with them .

It was Levis 501s and Frye boots, they fit like gloves and I lived in them for years. As an adult I have a few favorite things; sheep's fleece lined booties, a big-ish horse blanket vest and light weight denim over shirts that I can wear over tank tops and camisoles.

There's one other garment that I wore in my trucking days that was my favorite and most comfy thing... an Oshkosh girls bib overalls DRESS. I wore it when I was driving and loading/unloading freight by hand. I still have it, the straps and hem are pretty frayed, the hem in the two spots where boxes slid over my thighs and knees as I hefted them onto or off pallets... it was a technique that worked for me.

I had the time and a sewing machine to make a bigger one that I can wear now. Mine was a girls' large, somewhere along the way to now my I finally got hips and a bigger butt so it won't fit. But it's so old that I would have worn it to smithereens.

Wore it everywhere. I was a huge racing fan, but none of my friends were at the time.

After my parents got divorced and my Dad moved out of the house, I took one of his old field jackets and cut the sleeves off. I wore it all the time. It had a lot of pockets, it looked kind of cool (at least I thought so), was good for layering in the wintertime, and I could wear it in summertime without getting too hot.

It later got a closet friend when I did the same to one of my own army field jackets (woodland camouflage this time). I gave them both away years ago. Good look for a rebellious young guy; ridiculous look for a balding middle-aged guy.

in that dark brown color, got a tanish brown colored one, liked it, but it wasn’t my favorite. Oh, and bell bottom jeans. No name brand, just cheap ones, with Frey boots as well.
