The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsGood morning my DU family,
As we enter a period of what will seem to be seven days and seven nights of crazy rain here in Central Illinois, it reminds me that in order for anything to grow and prosper, it will need good nourishment.
Aren't we the same?
Please give us a day filled with opportunities to nourish the seeds of growth within us, let us remember that our process takes time too, and that we deserve patience, especially from ourselves.
Have an awesome day growing like a weed lol.
Love, John
P.S. Shadow is going crazy with the rain and thunder here, she's never seen lightning before. Petunia on the other hand, she won't be seen til the storm clears lol.

I couldn't live with some of the cat antics I see in videos.

(4,099 posts)my fur kids. I freak out more than them. A few years ago lightning started a fire close to my house and we had to evacuate. Evacuating with cats is not fun.
Hope you have a great day! Im feeling less depressed today, but grief is impossible to ignore, as you know, losing your close friend.

(5,810 posts)I really struggled with giving myself permission to just be, in whatever state I may be in, just to trust that it's right for now.
I was watching nature shows with Shadow yesterday evening, my goodness was she enthralled.
