Thanks for the mind jiggle. I’ve been listening while riding my stationary for a half hour. Loved the Australian one and newer ones. Great song to adapt to today’s madness.

Thought of you and your posts about the word…couldn’t find a way to link directly to the essay…here’s a link to the mag just scroll down to find the essay. Right side about 3 ‘columns’ down …titled “Bitch: a history.
Rather long… also gets into other common words such as…cunt…slut..very interesting on the history of words and how they were used.

are always fascinating. Inga Muscio has a wonderful book about the c-word and its origins in Goddess worship, and being a root word for "knowledge" and "ken". The last time a male called me that to my face, I gushed my thanks at length for him honouring me with a title of the Goddess. Pretty sure he never used that word again!
