(9,041 posts)my favorite on buttered toast is huckleberry jam. Wonderful memories of picking huckleberries with my mom, of blessed memory, on the Long Beach peninsula. Those that we picked along the highway were a pain to clean, but the huckleberry pie that came later was to die for.
