anyone else watch PROFESSOR OF ROCK videos? here's one about 1983

i've been watching these videos for awhile now. lots of detail about the songs that i find very interesting.

And his titles and thumbnails suck me in every time.

2. Yes, I have. I don't like him.

He runs a hype machine and I dislike those. Also, have you noticed that over the past month or thereabouts he has either "quit" or been "forced to silence" about ten times? There's too much sober and interesting content on YT for me to want to waste my time with someone so dramatic. Furthermore, it can't help but undermine his credibility, IMO, since it makes it look like the truth is secondary to a good story.

4. Mrs. Aristus and I used to watch his videos all the time, and even subscribed to his Patreon for a while.

But like you, we got tired of the constant "They're trying to silence me!" nonsense. We withdrew our Patreon payments, and now just skip his videos any time we see an "I'm so oppressed by YouTube!" video thumbnails.

3. All The Time

I just watched this episode a day or 2 ago.
I agree with most of his takes, but he's a bit over the top about Carpenters, The Smiths, & Billy Joel. I find myself fast forwarding when he gets all wistful about those acts.
