I mentioned that I’d been passing gas at a prodigious rate, yet they were all silent and completely odorless. I told doc that I’d already cut a few since he came into the exam room. Doc promptly started cleaning my ears, then said, ‘now let’s see what’s wrong with your sense of smell.’
