The Fever got 18 points ahead and the Mercury started doing hard fouls on every play.

Clark was getting mugged and she lost her cool. She needs to be a lot yougher mentally. She did more than clap. She made big gestures to try to turn the crowd aganst the refs. I would have T'd her up too.

The one who is mentally yough is Kelsey Mitchell. That girl doesn't get rattled. Clark needs to learn from Kelsey. Mitchell is the Fever's MVP, IMHO.

2. I watched her 👏, duh, the refs are cheating, lying and ruining the game.

I’m not gonna bad mouth kelsey but she’s no cc

I’ve watched the bs calls and it’s so clear the league wants to screw over the fever, and when they finally push her out every one can go back to small venues and riding the bus

I will get used to golf ⛳️

“Big gestures to turn the crowd against the refs”, you act like she’s magical lol

3. CC sees the floor as well as anybody ever has, male or female

At this stage, if I had room for one guard to go to tbattle with, it would be Kelsey. CC is too emotionally fragile. She has had numerous moments like this recently.

She's young and she was put in a position of being the entire face of a league that was barely noticed for 27 years. She will be fine. It would be nice if some of the other ladies showed a little appreciation for what they have today because of CC. I 100% agree with you on that.

4. In the midwest when we get cheated , we will call it out, there's no reason for her to just "take " it

That’s not being “emotionally fragile “,

“Emotionally fragile “ would be taking shit because she couldn’t afford to be fined as the wnba has done to players for years , keeping them so poor they couldn’t say anything

If the calls aren’t consistent the whole thing is a bad joke

All players feel like they are getting hosed from time to time. The mentally tough ones don't lose their cool. Instead, they have that look in their eyes like, "OK, that's how you want to call it, then I'm going to take it up a notch and force you to make calls."

I have watched CC a bit and I have never seen that look in her eye like "OK, look out." We have seen that all the time from MJ, Lebron, SGA, Tyrese, Curry, Bird, Magic, Kobe, Iverson, ... a very long list.

She has to get tougher. She will. She's only 24.

As far as WNBA refs, well, just about everybody agrees they are way below professional standards, so I agree with you there. The WNBA has work to do. Really, this is a 3-year-old league. It just didn't get any attention before CC. Lots of people bristle at that, but that's the fact, and there has bene a lot of resentment aimed at CC. Everybody needs to step up. They have a fantastic opportunity here. It is turning into a very watchable product.

6. If the refs were just bad the bad calls would go both ways, that's not what is happening

The other night I watched a fever player get fouled driving in for a lay up then the idiot ref said the fouled player landed wrong and got t’d up??????? The announcers couldn’t get over it, repeatedly saying, “ we’ve never seen that before “

It’s a bad joke

7. So that Thomas player deliberately knees cc in the groin,

Then punches cc in the throat and then tries to stomp her

She should be charged with felony battery at least… a one day suspension after the fact and they don’t even get the game taken from them is nothing

And they bragged about it on the net, no remorse, no sense of decency….

Caitlan needs to accept that the wnba doesn’t want her and seems to want to hurt her… I feel terrible for her but I don’t want our young girls to think this kind of violent behavior is acceptable… we just can’t have nice things and this falls squarely on the worthless commissioner… if she won’t fix it, cc needs to leave and most of us will leave with her

8. The NBA has control of the WNBA. They have 60% of the voting power, so they could fix this.

Silver probaby looks at this and thinks, there is no problem to fix. For the first time ever, the women are drawing good crowds. And if they are coming to se CC get beat up, well, that's business.

Silver's claim to fame is being a "player's commissioner." He isn't likely to stand up for one player unless he believes it would fall apart without CC, and he obviously doesn't believe that.
