How about a little virtual forest bathing?

This site features high-quality audio recordings made in forests around the world! It's a nice calming sonic environment if you're not able to get out to a real forest at the moment. Today my ears have heard the sounds of forests in Germany, Ecuador, and Sweden. Looking forward to more!

... of leaves in a soft summer breeze is indeed relaxing. We are surrounded by trees of many flavors, Black Locusts, Maples, Oaks, Spruce, Pine... well, you get the idea. Today is a nice break from the rain, sunny and warm, with a light breeze. What's not to love?

I’m an urban neighborhood that’s blessed with several mature trees. There’s often plenty of mechanical noise from the usual urban sonic smorgasbord, but Sundays are generally calmer and quieter. Breakfast on the porch today was lovely, with birdcalls and the susurrus of trees (what an apt word!) predominating and providing a much-needed sense of deep calm.

... but we can hear the traffic on the state highway just across the river. It's more muffled in the summer with all the foliage, so it doesn't harsh my mellow too much.
