2012 highway sales
I am starting a list of the 2012 highway sales. There are two I like to drive every year, and they are quite often my favorite weekends of the year.
US 50 sale: May 18-20. http://www.route50.com/yardsale.html US 50 runs between Washington DC and Sacramento.
US 127 sale: Aug. 2-5. http://www.127sale.com/ Hudson, Mich., to Gadsden, Ala. This is the big one. The sales north of the Ohio River began a few years ago.
One of the items I bought at the 127 sale last summer was a dachshund Beanie Baby. My one sister loves weiner dogs, and she was thrilled to get the toy! My other sister has quite a few Beanie Babies that were her sons, and she said she had never seen the dachshund one before. So I am very glad I purchased it.
Oh, and as you've probably figured out from my Internet name, I am a Barbie doll collector. I never tire of looking for Barbies!
