Has anyone done a papoose for babies? Are they supposed to fit snugly or loose? Thank you.

1. I have done something like that I would say

Somewhat loose but tapered

going to do the same pattern using a larger hook for a looser one.

I have made a bassinet with a board (t-shirt yarn) and the board had cut out circles I crocheted into
