This arrangement of West Side Story is one of the best big band charts I’ve ever heard.

Rich kicks ass throughout the arrangement.

But just because he was an amazing musician with brilliant technique, he was also a very sensitive player. Here he plays backup to Ella and Louis but notice how restrained and subtle he plays.
